Terms of Use
These terms apply to businesses using Dilot. Dilot is a product of Identiden. Where separate arrangements were made (such as a quote or an agreement), those take precedence.
1. The service
Dilot provides a chatbot for a business's website and an assistant that reads messages from customers (e-mail, Facebook, Instagram) and suggests replies to that business's staff. For this Dilot uses the knowledge the business provides or has on its website.
2. Account
The business makes sure only authorised people can access its account and keeps login details secret. What happens through the account is the business's responsibility.
3. Answers written by AI
Dilot writes answers with AI. They can contain mistakes. The business is responsible for the knowledge it provides and for what it sends in its own name; a suggested reply is only sent when the business has set it up that way or a staff member presses send.
4. Connected accounts
The business only connects accounts (Facebook Page, Instagram, mailbox) it is authorised to connect, and follows those platforms' terms. A connection can be removed at any time.
5. Not allowed
Using Dilot for anything the law forbids, for unsolicited bulk messages (spam), to get around the rules of connected platforms, or to disrupt the service or other clients.
6. Data
Identiden processes personal data as described in the privacy policy. For the data of the business's customers Identiden is a processor; a data processing agreement is available on request.
7. Availability
Identiden does its best to keep Dilot available, but cannot guarantee the service is never interrupted, for example by maintenance or by outages at AI services or connected platforms.
8. Liability
Identiden's liability is limited to the amount the business paid for Dilot in the twelve months before the damage. Identiden is not liable for indirect damage, such as lost profit. This does not apply in case of intent or gross negligence.
9. Ending
The business can stop at any time. Data is then deleted as the privacy policy describes. Identiden can end access after a serious or repeated breach of these terms.
10. Changes and law
These terms can change; important changes are announced in advance. Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes are brought before the competent court in the district of The Hague.
